English as an Additional Language
We offer English language lessons for all pupils during their stay
as part of the overall cost. This will include weekly lessons
as follows:

40 minutes of one to one bespoke English tuition as well as
20 minutes of conversational practice in a small group.

Activities offered vary from sporting activities to art , craft, intellectual and creative ones. They include origami, debating, school newspaper, strategy games, 3D printing, cooking and horse riding.
Leavers’ Programme (Year 8 only)

If your child is aged 12 or 13 and joining our Year 8, you have the option of allowing them to participate in our Leavers’ Programme.

Please note, there is an extra cost of circa £300 for this.

The Leavers’ Programme includes:-

A residential surf week in Cornwall

Visit to Warwick Castle or Stratford-upon-Avon

Cycle ride or similar Challenge activity

Malvern Hills walk

We have limited places available, if your child is not joining the Leavers’ Programme, they will join the Year 7 classes during this time and participate in usual lessons, activities, sports and trips.

What to bring – Short Stay Programme

Please note, laundry is done on site on a daily basis, therefore please do not send your child with more than requested.

You will see that we do not have a day uniform as such but have a smart dress code for all pupils and a separate games kit for sport.

All items, including shoes, must be clearly named.
Stationery

A pencil case containing; fountain pen, cartridges, pencil, coloured pencils, sharpener, eraser, ruler etc.
Please note pillows, pillowcases, duvets and duvet covers are not necessary as the school will supply them.
