Work in the classroom is enriched in every possible way, from engineering workshops at Clifton’s Suspension Bridge to performing Cinderella in German and analysing primate behaviour at the Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust in Jersey.
Digital Explorers, Debating and our Science Outreach programme (where girls take their science experience and experiments into local junior schools) sit alongside the chance to be trained as a Peer Mentor.
There are over 50 clubs and societies to help girls build their talents and to give them ways to unwind and enjoy themselves alongside their work.
Sixth Formers are also encouraged to take their skills and love for learning to a wider audience whilst developing links with the community around them and the Sixth Form has strong connections with local Prep and Junior Schools through our much acclaimed Science Outreach programme.

Prospective pupils for Years 7-10 take entrance papers in English (or English as a Foreign Language for candidates for whom English is not their first language and have not been at school in the UK for more than two years), Mathematics and a reasoning test(usually online). A senior member of staff interviews all candidates.A report from the candidate’s previous school is always sought and taken into consideration.
The two key points of entry are for Year 7 and Year 9 although girls may be admitted at Years 8 or10according to the availability of places.
Prospective Sixth Former choose papers in two subjects that they plant o take at A Level and a reasoning test.A senior member of staff interviews all candidates. An interview can be arranged via Skype or similar. A report from the candidate’s previous school is always sought and taken into consideration. Entrance assessments are taken in the November preceding the September of entry
The School will use the UKISET assessment system for all overseas candidates.

School Leavers
The majority of leavers head to Russell Group universities, while six per cent go overseas, to
the likes of Tufts and Johns Hopkins in the US.
