Academic Societies
Enrichment Programme offers broad scope for a wide range of academic societies, many of which are led by departments or students. Academic societies include:
Solar Car Club, Shakespeare Society, Greek Club, Creative Writing Society, Economics Society, Model United Nations, Debating, Geog-Soc, History Soc, Space Design Club, Robot Wars, Mandarin Club, Med Soc, Physics Soc, Sophos (Philosophy Society), Politics Society.
Ardingly College runs a dedicated programme for students considering a profession in medicine. We also run a similar provision for prospective dentists and vets.
All students from Year 7 upwards have their own personal Surface computer. Students in younger years are introduced to technology as part of the curriculum.
APPLY
To apply for a place at Ardingly College you have to complete our online registration, with a non-refundable registration fee of £150. We will then contact you regarding entrance assessments and references. A completed registration places a child on the year group entry / waitlist.
An interview with a member of the Senior Academic Team can only be arranged once a prospective student has registered with us and sat entrance assessments.
Accept
Subject to acceptable admissions criteria, your child will be offered a place. To accept, a confirmation of entry deposit is required. The student will then be part of the transition programme, up until their start at Ardingly College.
School Leavers
100% of our students wishing to go to university got into their first or second choice university and 81% of the total leavers cohort gained places at competitive Russell group universities.
UCL, Exeter, Warwick, Nottingham, Manchester and Birmingham were among the most popular destinations. Oxbridge also was as usual popular for our top students.
